||This lively Allemande, found in the key of Bb Major, is a wonderful example of a Baroque piece arranged for cello choir. Scored for 4 cellos. Cello 1 needs to be able to shift easily and read positions not only up to 4th position on the A string, but over to the D and G strings as well. The other parts are less challenging, but require players who can read up to 4th position and can play rhythmically independent from each other. The dynamics are well thought out and provide the extra sparkle needed to make this work a real favorite for all.
