||"Sunrise" was written in 2001 by Dr. Carl Seale for String Orchestra. This is a brief, but satisfying work that involves some high range work for Vln. I, but relatively easy lines for the other players. Slow in tempo with muted strings.
Sunrise is a short string orchestra piece constructed as a gradual crescendo in canonic form. All parts are more or less equal in difficulty requiring upper position work with secure intonation.
