||"Three-Sixty" was written by Paul Musser in 2005. There are two versions...one for Jazz Quartet and one for Jazz Quintet. Please specify your preference. The quintet is scored for Trumpet, Alto Sax, Piano, Bass and Drums. The quartet is scored for Tenor Sax, Guitar, Bass and Drums. The tempo is fast and the tune is in swing style. An up-tempo blues, the "Three-Sixty" is a tribute to the late, great pianist Thelonious Monk due to its featured clusters and chromatic writing. The quintet version adds horn background figures behind the closing piano solo.
