||"Prince of Denmark’s March" by Jeremiah Clarke has been arranged for Brass Quartet (2 Trpts; 2 Troms.) and Organ by Bill Schmid. Also available as a PDF.Prince of Denmark’s March
Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707), English organist and composer, wrote his “Prince of Denmark March” for keyboard alone. For many years, it was incorrectly known as Henry Purcell’s “Trumpet Voluntary,” and is very popular as a wedding processional for trumpet and organ. This particular arrangement is for brass quartet (two trumpets, two trombones) and organ. The trombone 2 part extends down to low D. The trumpet 1 part is better played on A piccolo trumpet – a separate part is included for this transposition. Also available as a PDF.
