"Windsong" is resonant, instructive and inspiring. It is bold, too, for its surgically sharp sense of proportion and balance. On this CD Steve Houghton expresses his values about percussion and drums. Although he is indeed on numerous recordings, none has truly documented his arc of musical involvement until "Windsong". Highly recommended!
