Christos Theo is currently professor and head of visual communications and design at UW-Eau Claire. He has been the head percussion arranger for the Sound of Sun Prairie since 1993 and was the percussion consulatant with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 1986-1995. Chris has also been the principal percussion arranger the Madison Scouts 1978-1985 and the Beatrix Drum and Bugle Corps of Hilversum Netherlands form 1986-1988. He is also a clinician with the Ludwig and Yamaha Drum Companies. In addition he is a member of the Percussive Arts Society and "Freecussion" drum ensemble. |
Christos Theo has been a percussion arranger, clinician, consultant, and adjudicator for over 25 years.
In addition to his responsibilities as a Professor in the Department of Art & Design at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Chris remains active in the areas of drum corps and marching band percussion.
Chris was the Principal Percussion Arranger for the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps
From 1986-1995, Chris was a Percussion and Program Consultant with the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps of Rosemont, Illinois.
Chris has composed and arranged percussion music for a number of High School and College Marching Bands, Drum & Bugle Corps, and Percussion Ensembles from throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe,
and was the percussion arranger for the Madison Scouts Alumni Reunion Corps which performed at the 2006 DCI World Championships.
Chris currently serves as Creative Program Consultant for the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps.
