Susan Vanderscheuren

Susan Vanderscheuren received her Bachelor of Music degree from U.W. - Madison where she studied piano with Tate Sanford Barrows. She was an active trombonist and vocalist through her college career. She has been a private music teacher for more than 20 years and an accompanist for more than 30 years. She has had the joy of accompanying many outstanding musicians, including English clarinetist John Denman and French saxophonist Claude Delangle. Aside from accompanying, Susan enjoys composing and arranging for different genres. She plays the keyboard in her familyís polka band, "Aunt Hoo and the Polka Dots". Susan lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband Paul, who had the good sense to marry his accompanist. They have five children.
