Raymond Standiford is a young percussionist/composer who has been involved in many performance groups, and will continue his musical journey into his college years, studying as a commercial music major. Raymondís high school music career has been under William Horlick Highís unmatched director, Donald Young. He has studied for thirteen years on drum set with his phenomenal teacher Randy Maio, in Racine, Wisconsin.

Other training has included a summer at Shell Lake Arts Center, and three years of participation in UWMís Youth Jazz Ensemble, under UWMís director, Curt Hanrahan. He has been involved in school and professional performances of plays such as The Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma, and The Luncheonette of Terror.

He has been the drummer in local bands called The Ruckus, and This Day and Age, who have gigged throughout Racine County and at Summerfest. Raymond loves to use his talent on Grace churchís worship team on Wednesday nights and occasionally on Sunday mornings, leading others in worship. For the past two years now, he has been a principal drummer in the well known Wisconsin traveling troupe, known as The Kids From Wisconsin, and will continue the experience in the troupe of 2013.
