"Sam’s Shuffle" by Frank Ferriano was written for and dedicated to Frank’s grandson Samuel Frank Mischio. It starts with a challenging unison line for Alto and trumpet. There are some nice trombone lines mixed in with the strong shuffle rhythms. Plenty of chance to stretch out your soloists. |
