Variations on “Granny’s Gooseberry Jam” – A moderate to easy set of variations to a folk-song style tune invented by the composer. As variations go these are of the simpleist type with the main tune being prominent in each, and carried by most sections in the course of the piece. Requires a reliable percussion section including two marimbaists on one instrument. 4:42
