Samba Verde description:
This is a high-energy samba for intermediate/advanced jazz band, written in 1994. It ís scored for 5 saxes (no doubles), 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 3 (or 4) rhythm. There are solos for alto sax, drums and trumpet; the trumpet solo concludes with a call-and-response with the rest of the horns. Lead trumpet - high G; lead trombone - optional
