||"Festive Music for Evening" was written in 2004 by Carl Seale. This is a unique work for Band and Handbell choir.
Festive Music for Evening (For Band and optional Handbell Choir) – The brief middle-section fanfare in the key of A Major would place the classification of this piece in the advanced column, however, the remainder of the piece is straight forward and easy to play. The piece makes use of the minimalist technique of extended repetition of figures to sustain a texture over which the melodic ideas are developed. If desired (but not necessary) an ensemble or several ensembles of handbells can be added to the performance for color and festiveness. The bell choir parts have been kept simple. 6:26
