"Djammin’ " was written in 2004 by Mark D. Powers as a djembe duet. This is a great piece to introduce your students to djembe drumming. Both parts
incorporate Bass, Open, Slap and Touch tones and allow room for each player
to take a short improvised solo over the other player’s rhythm. |
