"Two-rific" by Mark Powers was written in 2005. This work is for a solo percussionist using two different pitched snare drums. The composer has utilized rim sounds, muted sounds with the hand, stick-on-stick sounds and clicking sounds in addition to the pitches of the drums with snares on and off. A very exciting and cleverly written work sure to challenge your better drummers. |
