Sunset Over Wolf Ridge- This piece is scored for String Ensemble with?a violin solo. This short work was inspired by the composer?s passion for nature, where beauty can be found from the simplest of things. In this case, a particular sunset moved the composer to express musically the slow changes of the colors in the sky from crimson red to the blackness of the trees silhouetted against the landscape. This piece will be a great joy for both young and experienced ensembles. |
