||"Morning on the Wissahickon" is the first movement of a two movement work written by Charle Jason Bechtold. It is scored for TTBB Choir and it is dedicated to the memory of Howard Stringer. Mr. Bechtold was commissioned to write this piece by the Roxborough Male Chorus based on Edgar Allen Poe’s essay "Morning on the Wissahickon". It was premiered on May 13, 2006. There are a few nice speaking parts within the piece over some barbershop style harmony that adds a nice flavor and power. $1.70 per octavo.
