||"Felipe Loco" was written in 2007 by Eric Streich. This is a Latin chart that features Alto sax, Tenor sax, Trpt. 2, Trom. 2 as a quartet within the band. Solo changes for all four players. The composer writes: "Felipe Loco" would never have come to be if not for Phil Holm, the director of one of the MYJB bands. At my audition in the fall of my junior year of high school, he asked me to write another chart for his band, so I went home and started experimenting, getting 2 ideas that I liked-funk and latin. I started first on the Funk chart, but didnít make much progress, so I switched to the Latin side, and was heavily influenced by Mark Taylorís "Samba Ti Kaye" and†the USAF Airmen of Noteís†"The Goombay Smash". The title of this one is also in honor of someone, in this case, Phil Holm."
