"Korobushka" (The Peddler’s Pack) has been arranged by Charley Gerard for Sax Quartet (SATB). This traditional Russian folk song fits very well in the Sax Quartet literature. There is even a spot for Alto Sax to do a bit of improvisation. This is the Chicken Dance of the 1800’s. A Presto finish with a "Hey" at the end. Great fun! |
