A real Czech style polka. "Green is Green" also known as "Zelena-Zelena" was written by Jaromir Jankovec. Ernie Broeniman has scored it for Traditional British Brass Band: Soprano Cornet; Solo Cornet; Repiano Cornet; 2nd & 3rd Cornet; Flugel Horn; Solo Horn in F; 1st & 2nd Horn; 1st & 2nd Baritone; 1st, 2nd and Bass Trombone; Euphonium; Eb Bass; Bb Bass, Drum kit and Mallets. The instruments all read in treble clef except for the Bass Trom. It is readily adaptable to a variety of instruments and levels of ability. This is the real thing, the solid polka style arranged by Ernie Broeniman, the founder and leader of the famous Dorf Kapelle...a professional ensemble from Northeastern Wisconsin.
