"Division Street Shuffle" was composed for Jazz Ensemble in 2009 by Glenn Simonelli.Division Street Shuffle is an up-tempo swing piece for jazz ensemble reminiscent of the big band sound of the 1930s and 40s. Written with beginning improvisers in mind, it features outlines for solos on soprano and tenor saxophone, trumpet, and trombone as well as suggested accompaniment parts for the rhythm section.
