||"Jabberin’ George" was written in 2010 by Ray Ames. This is a chart for young jazz ensembles. The composer writes: "Jabberin’ George" is a very easy swing style chart for young Jazz Ensemble. Rhythms are easy, Rhythm section parts are very playable. It works for full jazz ensemble but it could be played with as few as 4 horns and rhythm section. It has been performed by my beginning jazz ensemble, which is all sixth graders in their first or second year of playing. Since they got this piece, it’s all they want to play. Parts are printed with Finale. They are beautifully organized and easy to read. Solos can be added using a Dorian scale in the key of Bb concert".
