"Guerrilla Quick-Step" by Claudio S. Grafulla (1810-1880) has been transcribed for modern Concert Band/Marching Band by Nicholas J. Contorno. This work is dedicated to Capt. Kenneth R. Force , D.M. and The Regimental Band of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy-King’s Point, NY. This is another of the Grafulla compositions that reflect the Civil War music era. An excellent march with challenging parts for all. Parts are flip folder size. With the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War this music is especially appropriate. This is the actual music that Civil War marching bands played on the march. |
