"Celtic Spirit" was written in 2008 by Bill Douglas. This is a work for Flute Quartet. It is scored for Fl.1,2,3 and Alto Fl. There are 3 movements: 1.)Dancing in the Wind; 2.) Azure; 3.) Spirit Dance. The composer writes "Celtic Spirit for Flute Quartet (three C flutes and one alto flute) consists of three movements (medium-slow-fast) in the style of Irish-Scottish folk songs. They are relatively easy and could be played by any undergraduate flute quartet." |
