"Charlie’s Shuffle" was written by Matt Lamb in 2007. This is a chart for young jazz ensembles. Works well in the Little Big Band category. It is a blues shuffle with some easy standard blues riffs and a clever, yet very approachable melody. After the solo section Matt has introduced the call and response idea. This chart is kid-tested and approved. |
