This is a jazz power ballad in 7/4. It features the piano in a beautiful improvised cadenza at the beginning and moves into a beautiful ballad that builds momentum and energy through a very exciting tenor solo. All solos are in the piano and Tenor 1 parts. Four Trumpets, four trombones, five saxes, no doubles, no guitar part. Highest lead trumpet note is concert C above the staff. Highest lead trombone note is B above middle C. |
