||"Walker Papers" was written by Ray Ames in 2011. This is swing style blues written for younger jazz ensembles. The composer writes:" We performed it in December, 2011 and it went over very will with both performers and audience. The trombones especially liked using the plungers.
It is a 12 bar Blues. A little more advanced than basic. I donít use the IV chord in measure
2, but I use the V chord in measure 12. It is a good tool to introduce alternate chords in the blues pattern.
All chords are dominant 7ths. It is also a good tool for figuring out which measures to use accidentals."
