Written in 2014 for our Twin Cities Jazz Festival performance at Bedlam Theatre in St. Paul that year, “Bedlamoogie” is an uptempo swing tune in 6/4 with chord changes for soprano sax, tenor sax, and trumpet for flexibility in soloing. The Bill Simenson Orchestra typically uses this tune as a set opener.
